County governments prepare a County Integrated Development Plan in liaison with planners, experts and other stakeholders. These are community members, representatives of the private sector, and development partners. The County Integrated Development Plan takes into account the public participation forums during the drafting process to be inclusive. Technical teams examine data, determine priorities, and create strategies that align with the development goals of the county. It is a participative style that will see the end product represent the true needs of the people as well as fulfilling regulatory and policy demands by the higher levels of government.
